The Central Ark. Model Aviators Assn. will host another R/C Airshow at the old Saline County Airport in Benton, AR on Saturday June 13th, 2009 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Follow the R/C Airshow signs on the south service road (2 way traffic) at exit 116 on I-30 in Benton. Entrance to the airport will be behind the Fairgrounds on I-30 via the south service road (2 way traffic); Fairfield Rd (on the West side of the Fairgrounds), then turn left on Jackman St. Bring something to display, even if you don't fly it. Any AMA member can fly with us. We've got plenty of room! Catering will be available from the Bauxite Boy and Girl Scout troupes. Pictures of previous R/C Airshows and other club activities are posted on our club website at: www.camaa.org Prop & turbine jet powered airplanes and helicopters will be flown, and there is no admission charge, (donations accepted). Academy of Model Aeronautics sanctioned Class C, no contest, just come join the fun, flying off a real airport paved runway 50 ft wide X 3,900 ft long! We also have a huge grass runway mowed for those who are apprehensive about using the pavement. Hope to see you there.
