I got a report from Bergen that Dave's plane was found in a tree east of Hwy 16 down in that first hollow as you're headed towards Fayetteville. The owner saw the plane in one of his trees and evidently knew to call Max about it. Max put Dave in touch with him. I haven't talked with Dave since I got that email from Bergen, but hopefully Dave's got his plane back and was able to salvage most of the electronics. Hey Roger. Nice video, too :) The past few times I've flown, the dandelions have been awful! I only had 1 hr to fly. I was a beautiful day, it was the first day in months with no significant wind!! The P-38 flew great in calm skies, and my squirrly Fokker D VII accually did realy well too. My take offs have greatly improved with a toe-in adjustment to my landing gear, it is a fun plane to fly. I can hardly wait for more sunlight and after dinner flying. see ya soon. Roger.
