- 2008 dues are due. Dues are still $20 for individuals and $30 for families. You will need to show your 2007 AMA card when paying your club dues.
- The gate combination was changed on 01/01/2008. The new combination is printed on the back of your membership card. If you have paid your 2008 dues but haven't received your membership card yet, please contact one of the club officers.
- The Secretary/Treasurer has member directories available. If you'd like one, ask Marvin nicely, and he'll be happy to give you one.
- This year you will have the option of having the newsletter mailed to you, e-mailed to you, or you can get it from this web site. Please inform the Secretary/Treasurer if you would like to have the newsletter mailed, e-mailed, both, or neither.

Setup begins at 8:00am. ALL setup and sales MUST be in the parking lot. Bring your own tables. RC Related only stuff. No bath tubs, ’78 Chrysler Cordobas w/”Corinthian Leather” or sinks please! Come on out to “Buy-Fly-Swap-Sell” and have a good time. 400 foot asphalt, 600 foot grass, covered areas, indoor facilities, wide open spaces. Heli’s are welcome.

Tenkiller RC Fly in - 09/28/2008
Our local chapter of EAA (#1040) based at Cookson's Tenkiller airport would like to invite you and your members to our annual RC fly in and BBQ. it's Sept 28, a Sunday, all day. We feed everyone a big lunch. Several clubs and other AMA members from all around the area participate every year and it's been a big hit with the locals here. We groom a portion of our grass taxiway just for the models and we have the Boy Scouts working crowd control. Hot Springs RC Flying Club Scale Fly-in - 10/04-10/05/2008
The second annual scale flyin is scheduled for 4-5 October. We had a good flyin last year with many great and some unusual aircraft. Lot of spectators came out to see the work of scale builders. We have a super field at Cedar Glades Park In Hoy Springs, Arkansas. This is a resort with outstanding tourism and recreational activities for the family. October is beautiful here and all the attractions are still in full swing. We look forward to a good turnout of fliers and a great show of workmanship and flying. I will follow up with more later.
